(B) beginner friendly
(E) everyone friendly

MONDAY
12:00-1:00 pm Follow the Sun (Yang/Yin) Michelle (E)
This class begins with a stronger yang-style sequence with lunge variations and sun salutations designed to build strength and improve balance. It then shifts to a gentler yin-inspired practice with longer holds providing space and time for a softer way of stretching and nourishing fascia and connective tissues. A bolster, blanket and blocks are helpful supports in these postures. This slower pace encourages a meditative awareness while you further develop whole-body proprioception and alertness to sensations. Combined, this yang/yin hour will ensure your path towards relaxation in savasana will feel deep and restful.

Dream with care.

5:30-6:45 pm Into the Mystic Susan (B)
This beginner friendly practice is inclusive, therefore every student will feel supported, safe and challenged, yet still relaxed and at ease. Alignment, variations, safety and inner awareness of self are all emphasized giving those new to the practice of yoga the ability to take these fundamental elements to other classes and feel secure. Not a beginner?…you will still be encouraged to find your own edge throughout the class so anyone can come….everyone gets what they need.

Let your soul and spirit fly.

TUESDAY 6:00-7:15 pm You Get What You Give Kelly (E)
This every one, every body friendly practice is at times strong and challenging while still allowing you to maintain that connection between mind and body so integral to yoga. The traces of Kundalini blended into this Hatha forward class are what makes it so unique and interesting. No two classes are ever the same but the one minute plank is definitely a regular occurrence as well as a short dharma talk, asanas (poses), pranayama (breath work), meditation and relaxation.

Just bend.

***ONLY ONCE A MONTH***
Jan 11, Feb 8, Mar 8, Apr 12, May 10 and June 14
11:30-1:00 pm A Love Supreme Jessica and Jason (E)

The Jivamukti Open class welcomes you, as it is open to practitioners of all levels. This practice is centred around the Five Tenets of Jivamukti Yoga: Ahimsa (non-harming); Bhakti (Sanskrit chanting); Dhyana (meditation); Nada (sound & music) and Shastra (yoga philosophy). Asana options will be provided for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. A typical Open class includes vigorous asana, flowing vinyasa sequences, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, relaxation and meditation, supported by an eclectic musical soundtrack. All Jivamukti Open classes include 14 points—asanas, meditation and spiritual teachings—in a sequence creatively designed by the teacher. The practice of yoga thus becomes more than mere physical exercise; it becomes a way to improve one’s relationship to all others and thus lead to enlightenment – the dissolution of the sense of separateness, the realization of the oneness of being, the discovery of lasting happiness.

One thought can produce millions of vibrations.
